I tried to take photos of lightning tonight, but had no luck. While there was some lightning, nothing was in the direction the camera was pointing. I only got four pictures of the night sky, and they might as well have been shot with the lens cap on.
There is a lightning trigger made, but I have not even looked at the price for one.
